Cornell Trustees approve tuition hike

Cornell University’s Board of Trustees has approved a 3.26% increase in the cost of attendance for most undergraduate students living on campus.

That reflects an across-the-board tuition increase of $1,920 for all undergraduate students.

But New York State residents in the university’s statutory colleges, whose tuition rate is lower than for out-of-state students, will see a 4.25% increase in their cost of attendance.

Overall, the cost of attendance for New York state undergraduate students will rise from roughly $42,600 to about $44,500.
