ITHACA CONVENIENCE STORE ROBBER SENTENCED

The man who robbed three area convenience stores last December was sentenced to 8 years in prison with 5 years post release supervision last week.

In July 32-year old Curt Rosenfeld of Ithaca plead guilty to three counts of second-degree robbery. Rosenfeld was responsible for a series of robberies that began December 17th at the Mirabito convenience store in Dryden. He then robbed the Byrne Dairy on North Meadow Street in Ithaca December 19th, followed by Ithaca’s Shortstop Deli December 24th. Rosenfeld was sentenced to eight years for each robbery charge, which The Ithaca Voice reports will be served concurrently.
