Some careful observation by an officer on foot patrol early Thursday morning led to the arrest of an Ithaca man.

Ithaca Police Officer Jamie Williamson says the officer observed suspicious behavior by several cars at the Seneca Street Parking Garage.

She told her fellow officers, which led to the arrest of 21-year-old Elias Rogers for driving while intoxicated.

But they also found he had roughly 15 grams of meth on him that was packaged with intent to sell.

Rogers was arraigned on several charges and taken to county jail on $2,500 cash bail.
