Car fire at Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office under investigation

LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) – No injuries were reported after a vehicle fire at the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office.

Just before noon on January 26, the Lansing Fire Department was called to the public safety building for a possible car on fire in the employee parking lot. Firefighters found a small car completely engulfed and extinguished it with no issues. Investigators are working to determine the cause.
