Walkin’ The Country Monday, September 8th

Here we go again! It’s the first day of my walk across Tompkins County for The Food Bank of the Southern Tier’s Backpack Program.

Today’s Driver: Tom “Sound Clip” Primerano!

Once again this year we begin the walk with Cornell Athletics staff, coaches and friends.  I’ll be talking with all the assembled coaches at their meeting this morning and then, as Andy Noel hands me the first check in my backpack,  the Walk begins in front of the Friedman Wrestling Center.

My travels will take me around the campus this morning then out Pine Tree Road for a visit at Agava at around noontime:

After a little something to eat, I’m headed out Route 79 bound for Slaterville.  Like last year, I’ll be turning down into Brooktondale before returning to Route 79 for my finish at the Slaterville Fire Department.

Walk Monday PM
