Walkin’ The Country Wednesday, September 10

It’s the “Half Way Day”!  This afternoon I make it to the midway point in the walk.

Today’s Driver: Ray Morrison!

Boat Trip: Mike and Tammy Milliman!

The Wake Up Q originates  from Casper’s Diner in Groton.  Come on out for a great breakfast and make a donation!  Last year, I recall that it was a loooong walk to Lansing up 34B, so I’ll be leaving Casper’s at around 8 headed to Lansing.  After a pause at the ball fields for lunch I’m headed to Myer’s Park to pick up a boat ride to Taughannock Park.  I’m thinking of it as a reward for hitting the half way point in the Walk.

Wednesday 1

Once I get back on dry land, it’s the start of the second half of the walk with a stroll up the big hill to Trumansburg with an end of day stop at Ron Don’s Village Pub.
