TBurg Takes On Pediatric Cancer

Hey everybody, Chris here…

I just wanted to say Thank You for your generosity today.  We were all very troubled by the news that someone had stolen roughly $2500. from a collection jar at the Falls Tavern in Trumansburg.  That money was being collected by TBurg Takes on Pediatric Cancer, to help children and families coping with cancer.

We put out the call this morning and you answered!  At this point more than $3400.00 has been raised to replace what was stolen.  This is astounding!

If you made a donation, please be sure to write your check to “TBurg Takes On Pediatric Cancer” and send it off to 1751 Hanshaw Road, Ithaca NY 14850.  We’ll see to it that it gets to the right place.

If you’re interested in the work of this great organization, take a look at their website or plan on attending their 4th annual fundraiser this Saturday beginning at 3, at the Trumansburg VFW.

THANK YOU for caring!

Meghan Trainor says she ‘Still Don’t Care’ — because her new album and tour are about growth

In the decade following her debut album, Meghan Trainor has lived myriad lives — but the message of her bright, cheery pop music has remained the same: Stay true to who you are and ignore the haters.
