Cops, Kids and Toys Really Does Make A Difference.

Everyone at Cops Kids and Toys would like to Thank the community for responding to the call to make it a beautiful Christmas for all the children.

We hope you know that your generosity really does make a difference.  Here’s just a sampling of the responses this year:

From people who applied from the online application:

Thank you for giving me and my family the possible opportunity to have a good Christmas this year.  We have never had the need before, but have been seriously struggling financially this past year. I’ve never signed up for any kind of charity before of any kind, accept on the giving end of things, and I am pretty embarrassed.  I’ve felt heartbroken thinking about the fact that we weren’t going to be able to do hardly anything for our boys this year, and was so happy when I remembered about this program.  I’m usually one to buy an extra book or toy at the stores, and I could just cry thinking about the position we are in now.  Anyway, I know there isn’t time to read every person’s story, but I thought I would fill out this application and see what happens.  Thank you.

I just wanted to get back to you while I had the chance, to say thank you for writing back to me.  It’s nice to know that I was sending my family’s application to a real person and not just out into the ether!  I can’t tell you how much both my husband and I appreciate knowing that our boys will have some things for Christmas this year.   I just about cried when I read your email.  I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and have a Happy Holiday Season.  Thanks again!!

This feels so huge.  I am filled to the brim with gratitude.  You and your organization are doing such amazing work.

Long ago, before I had my own family, I coordinated gifts for an 80 bed family homeless shelter for a few years.   That felt like a big task (so worth it!), but what you are doing is takes enormous coordination, and touches so many lives.

It is very humbling for me now, to be so close to being in a shelter with my own children, and completely without the means to offer them a Christmas.  You definitely have changed my tears of despair to tears of joy.   Thank you!

From the Breakfast with Santa:

Hi thanks you for being so kind to my daughter, who doesn’t talk. She loved sitting with Santa and Mrs. Clause. I hope you can help out many children and give them a wonderful Christmas!!!

Thank you for making a difference,

Cops Kids and Toys
