Starting Monday, April 22, 2019 at 5 AM 103.7 Q Country (WQNY) will be starting “Jammin’ Contest”. This contest will be held online and on air and will be held on WQNY. Listeners can enter once between April 22, 2019 at 5 AM until 5 AM May 17, 2019 at the “Jammin’ Contest” page located at www.1037qcountry.com. Each day during the Q Country Morning show starting April 29, 2019 until May 17, 2019 one entrant will be called by WQNY and will have 3 chances to identify a common phrase made up of clips from songs for their chance to be a qualifier. If a person cannot answer the question after 3 chances the host running the contest will move onto the next entrant. On May 17, 2019 once we have our 15th qualifier, or in the case that 15 qualifiers cannot be found we will move on with our current number of qualifiers, we will have them send us an email, the email must be sent before 9 PM May 22, 2019 to wakeupq@1037qcountry.com with their full name/location, telling us where they will be on May 23, 2019 between the hours of 10 AM and 11 AM. We will draw qualifiers at random and visit them to award the prize of one trip for two for this year’s Q Jam. If a qualifier is not at their stated location once we arrive we will move onto the next qualifier until the prize is awarded.
All 15 Qualifiers will receive a $20 gift card to Zoom Tan. Only one qualifier will be our grand prize winner and receive the prize below.

- The prize includes roundtrip motor coach transportation between Ithaca and the airport flight to Negril Jamaica

We will award the prize May 23, 2019.
We will draw qualifiers at random and visit them to award the prize of one trip for two for this year’s Q Jam. If a qualifier is not at their stated location once we arrive we will move onto the next qualifier until the prize is awarded.
Entrants will be called during the Q Country Morning show from their submitted information weekdays starting April 29, 2019 until May 17, 2019. If the entrant who is called is not able to identify the common phrase correctly in three tries we will move onto the next entrant until the entrant is correct and becomes that day’s qualifier. Once we have 15 qualifiers, or in the case that 15 qualifiers cannot be found we will move on with our current number of qualifiers, on May 17, 2019 we will have all qualifiers email us the location they will be at May 23, 2019 between 10 AM and 11 AM. We will draw these qualifiers at random and going in the order they are randomly drawn visit the location. The first location we visit that has one of the qualifiers there will have the aforementioned qualifier selected as our one winner for the “Jammin’ Contest”.
Must be 21+ to enter. One entry per person. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participants entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the email address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.
WQNY contests are open to all eligible New York State and Pennsylvania State residents 18 or older, unless a different age is specified for the contest, have not won anything on WQNY in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of WQNY, Cayuga Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WQNY main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
No purchase necessary. Prize is not redeemable or transferable for cash. WQNY sole responsibility will be to award the prize. WQNY shall have no further responsibility if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize. Winner responsible for all applicable federal and state taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included with the prize and are the sole responsibility of the winner.
This contest is being run concurrently and simultaneously in the Ithaca New York are between radio stations associated with the Cayuga Radio Group and listeners of said stations will be competing against each other for the same prize. These rules supersede the rules found on the SecondStreet platform.
