Starting Monday April 10th, 2023 @ 6 AM (WQNY) be presenting the “Q-Feud on-air Game Show Contest”. The game will be played during the morning show, “The Wake Up Q”, once daily between 6AM and 10AM, Monday through Friday, for a period of three weeks. Each day, the host will tell listeners what time, within 2 minutes, the game will be played that day. The opening music serves as the sounder and cue to call and the host will take caller 3 and 4 on the studio line, (607-257-9769), to become “Contestants” in each instance of the contest. Contestants try to name the top answer to three questions asked in a survey of 200 listeners (conducted online in February). Contestant 3 will always have the first guess, then Caller 3 and 4 will alternate the first guess for the remaining two questions. If the guess matches the #1 answer, it’s an automatic point. If not, caller 4 can guess and if that number is higher than the answer given by caller 3, the point is awarded to contestant 4. Contestants cannot choose the same answer. The contestant closest or equal to the top answer gets a point. Once either contestant gets 2 points the round is over and that contestant goes to the Grand Prize Drawing set to take place on Friday April 28, 2023 at 9AM.
1 winner will be drawn randomly from the qualifying entries to win. The contest will begin April 10, 2023 and the Grand Prize will be presented on April 28th, 2023 .
The Winning entrants will receive:

Throughout the process all qualifiers will be asked where they will be the day of the drawing on the morning of April 28th 2023 at 9:00 AM. Once the randomly drawn Grand Prize winner is chosen, if possible, we can go to meet the winner in person and surprise them live on air. If unable to give the news in person, every attempt will be made to alert the winner by phone.
Must be 21+ to enter. One qualifying entry per household, Submitting more than one qualifying entry, per household will invalidate all entries by that household. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participants entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the email address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.
WQNY contests are open to all eligible New York State and Pennsylvania State residents 21 or older have not won anything on the above-mentioned stations in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of WQNY Cayuga Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the above mentioned Stations main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
No purchase necessary. Prize is not redeemable or transferable for cash. Cayuga Radio Group’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize and shall have no further responsibility if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize. Winner responsible for all applicable federal and state taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included with the prize and are the sole responsibility of the winner.
