Women Swimmin’ for Hospicare

Hey, it’s Emma! This year I will be participating in the Annual Women Swimmin’ for Hospicare event. It’s a 1.2 mile swim across Cayuga Lake with ALL money raised going to patient and family services in Tompkins County.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 9th and we will be kicking off from the Ithaca Yacht Club. It’s important to note that this is not a race, so swimmers are encouraged to go at their own speed. This year swimmer registration broke all records, filling up in only three and a half hours! This level of support is amazing and something I am proud to be a part of.

Hospicare is an important part of our community and I feel lucky to have the opportunity to give back to an organization that has done so much for so many.

Women Swimmin’ Website

My fundraising goal is $1,000 and I created a page to accept donations. Even if it’s just $5 or $10, anything helps. DONATE

Thank you ♥ !
-Emma
