Powerball Text Rules


103.7 QCountry is giving you a chance to win big with this week’s Powerball drawing. To win, text the correctly spelled keyword BALL to 77000, starting 6AM August 6th through 4:59 pm on August 7, 2013. Message and data rates may apply. One text entry per phone number. A text received will be chosen at random at 5pm on August 7th. The cell phone number from the chosen text will be called. If we are unable to speak with the contestant who sent the text within 5 minutes from the time we dial that contestant’s cell number, then the prize will be forfeited and another random text will be chosen with the same procedure until a winner is determined. Grand prize is 50“Quick Pick” Powerball tickets, with a retail value of $100, good for the Wednesday, August 7th Powerball drawing and will be available beginning the next business day. Must be 18 years of age or older and have not won any other prizes from the radio station in the last 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Employees of WQNY, Cayuga Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WQNY main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse.
