Walkin’ The Country Friday September 12

Today’s Driver: Adam and Dave Buck!

Today starts with a big breakfast at Freddie’s Place in Newfield.  From there it’s up about the biggest incline of the whole walk: Blakeslee Hill Rd!  Those who know it, know that it goes straight up then winds then goes straight up then winds…etc.  It’s tough, but it’s worth it because it’s the best way to our lunch stop in Danby with Rogan’s Corner.  Thanks to Gay Huddle for arranging for us to stop in the park for a quick lunch.

Friday1

From Danby, it’s straight down Rt 96B.  It’s a long road but the end is almost in sight.  I’ll be turning off for a walk through Ithaca College to IC Square at Campus Center after 3:00 this afternoon then it’s down the hill to our final party destination at Wegmans!
