SYRACUSE — Police have issued an AMBER Alert for a 1-year-old girl they say was abducted Saturday night in Syracuse.

Syracuse Police say the child, Maddox Lawrence, was abducted near Valley Drive in Syracuse around 11 p.m. Saturday.

The girl is described as white, with blonde hair and brown eyes, and weighs 26 pounds. Police say she was wearing a white shirt with a pink collar and brown puppies, as well as long pink pants, a blue coat with a pink lining, brown suede shoes, and a gray knit hat with pom-poms.
Police are looking for Ryan Lawrence, 24, who they describe as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He’s approximately 5’11” inches tall, and weighs roughly 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans, and tan Timberland boots.
Investigators say Lawrence left home with the child after indicating he was going to harm himself and possibly the child. Police say Lawrence has a history of mental health issues and is emotionally unstable.
