ALBANY, N.Y. – A bill banning the manufacture and distribution of 3D printed guns has passed both houses of State Legislature and now heads for Governor Cuomo’s desk.

The bill follows a package of gun control measures already approved this legislative session, including the “red flag” law meant to keep guns away from those who pose a risk to themselves or others and a ban on bump stocks. The Assembly passed the bill 111-22, calling it common sense gun safety legislation intended to keep undetectable firearms off New York streets.
