Binghamton man killed in motorcycle-lawnmower accident

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WHCU) — Authorities in Binghamton are investigating a deadly accident involving a motorcycle and a lawnmower.

State Police say 74-year-old Danny Shepard was operating a rider mower on Sunday near the road. At the same time, 28-year-old Justin Tarbox was riding his motorcycle on Hawleyton Road when the two collided.

Shepard was pronounced dead at the scene. Tarbox was treated for injuries.
