Cayuga Heights applies for grant to help restore park

CAYUGA HEIGHTS, N.Y. (WHCU) — Officials in Cayuga Heights are crossing their fingers for funding.

The village recently applied for a grant to help restore Sunset Park. Repairs are expected to cost about $235,000. The grant would cover 75 percent of expenses.

Officials say the project promotes ecological sustainability.
