ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cornell will not renew their relationship with Starbucks.

The Ithaca Voice reports Cornell’s decision to cut ties with the coffee chain when the contract ends comes after the National Labor Relations Board recently ruled that Starbucks demonstrated anti-union tactics.

After Ithaca’s three Starbucks voted to unionize last year, the company closed all three locations over several months.

Cornell’s contract with Starbucks expires in June 2025.
