Cortland County Legislature to vote on redistricting

CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Leaders in Cortland County are nearing a redistricting decision.

Officials are preparing to drop the number of legislative districts from 17 to 15. Each block would have about 3,100 people. The goal is to have equal representation in relation to population.

Legislators meet on Thursday at 6 PM to vote. To view the proposed map, scroll to page 92 of this document.
