CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Cortland Transit bus route will shut down for the week.

Cortland County announcing that Cortland Transit bus Route 5 will not be in operation today through Friday due to a driver shortage.

Cortland Transit is hiring full-time and part-time drivers, and all necessary training to earn a CDL is provided. They are currently offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for CDL drivers and $1,000 for trainees that graduate with a CDL.
