Crews respond to fire alarm in Caroline

CAROLINE, N.Y. (WHCU) — It was a sigh of relief for Tompkins County firefighters.

Crews from Brooktondale responded to an alarm on Thursday. It came from Slaterville Road in Caroline. Authorities determined there was no actual fire – a malfunctioning detector was the cause of the alarm.
