DOD awards Cornell $3M to improve cyber security

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cornell researchers will benefit from federal funding.

Computer scientists at the university are getting $3 million from the U.S. Department of Defense. The money will help strengthen cyber security.

The Cornell Chronicle reports researchers will use artificial intelligence to help predict online attacks.

In other educational news, Ithaca College plans to construct an elevator addition.
