Fair wages at center of UAW strike, Cornell expert says

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Thousands of United Auto Workers union members are striking against three automakers.  

Art Wheaton, the director of Labor Studies at Cornell, tells us it’s about fairness. 

Workers at three plants in the US began their strike at midnight on Thursday. Talks between both sides reportedly stalled over the weekend.
