Flooding reported at Cortland’s Tioughnioga River

CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Minor flooding is being reported from the Tioughnioga River in Cortland. 

The National Weather Service says the Crown City is under a river flood warning until 7 p.m. Wednesday. Cortland is in a moderate flood stage at Yaman Park and in the village of Marathon. Forecasters predict the river will fall below the flood stage later this morning.

A river flood warning is also active in part of Tioga County until early Thursday morning.
