GUTHRIE WELCOMES NEW PROVIDERS

Sayre, Pa. – Guthrie is pleased to welcome the following providers who have recently joined the organization:

Michael J. DePersis, D.O. is a board certified cardiologist in Owego and Vestal with clinical interests in cardio-oncology, preventative cardiovascular medicine and sports cardiology. Dr. DePersis completed a residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. and a fellowship at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Pa. Rahul Gosain, M.D. is a board certified oncologist at Guthrie Corning Cancer Center with clinical interests in genitourinary cancers, immuno-oncology and thrombotic microangiopathy. Dr. Gosain completed a residency at The John Hopkins University in Sinai, Baltimore, Md. and a fellowship at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Ky. Mary Khalil, P.A.-C. joins the internal medicine team in Sayre, Pa. She completed her education at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, N.Y. and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Shantanu Devanand Solanki, M.D. is a hospitalist at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. with clinical interests in cardiology, gastroenterology and nephrology. Dr. Solanki completed his education at Smt. NHL Municipal Medicine College in Ahmedabad, India and a residency in the Department of Medicine at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y.

Patrick Horner, D.O. is a hospitalist at Guthrie Corning Hospital with clinical interests in gastroenterology, hospital medicine and nephrology. Dr. Horner completed his education at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif. and a residency at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, N.Y.
