HOMER, N.Y. (WHCU) — Homer is one of the top 10 safest cities in the US.

CCTV Camera World ranked the 100 safest American cities based on crime numbers. Homer in Cortland County ranks number four on the list, with slightly over 32 crimes per 100-thousand people in 2020. Out of the 100 listed, 16 cities are in New York.
