ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Investigators say they did not find any weapons in Patrick Dai’s apartment.

The Ithaca Voice reports investigator Ryan Smith of the New York State Police was in court Friday, where he confirmed a search of the 21-year-old Cornell student’s apartment did not result in the discovery of guns. He remains charged with one count of posting threats to kill or injure another using interstate communications. Dai was arraigned last Wednesday.

Authorities believe Dai posted threats online last month to shoot Jewish students on campus.

Dai, who was charged in federal court, remains locked up in the Broome County jail.
