ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – A local children’s organization is extending a fundraising deadline in hopes the extra time will help them reach their intended goal.

scholarship fund is less than $2,000 away from its goal of $17,500. The money raised directly supports scholarships for equitable access to ICG’s outdoor programs and camps. 160 donors have already raised nearly $16,000. If ICG’s donation goal is met, it will be matched by a donor.

The new deadline is this Saturday, August 19. You can donate here.
