ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — When the spring semester begins in 2022, Ithaca College will be at a Yellow alert.

Booster shots are required for all students, either by February 15th or 30 days after being eligible. Employees are still encouraged to get vaccinated and receive their boosters. Any unvaccinated staff member must continue wearing face masks at all times in the spring.

In addition, students are required to receive a PCR test within 72 hours of returning to campus. A yellow alert means a low to moderate risk of COVID-19 at Ithaca College, which currently sits at an Orange alert for a moderate risk of contracting the virus.
