ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca College is warning students about scams.

School officials say fake internship opportunities are going around. Some come from Gmail addresses and offer part-time work.

Anyone with concerns or questions should contact the college’s IT Service Desk at 607-274-1000.

On the other side of the city, a Cornell professor is getting nearly $900,000 from the Department of Energy.
