ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Ithaca’s PRIDE events have been rescheduled for this Friday and Saturday.

The celebration kicks off Friday with the PRIDE Parade and dance party. Participants will walk from Press Bay Alley to the Bernie Milton Pavilion on the Commons. A small ceremony with opening remarks will start at 7:00 p.m., followed by the dance party.

Saturday’s block party will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Press Bay Alley and the 100 block of West State Street. The events were postponed last week out of an abundance of caution due to poor air quality from Canadian wildfires.
