ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A former congressional candidate is running again.

Josh Riley announced Tuesday a second run in the 19th Congressional district. Riley was edged out by Marc Molinaro in November, who now holds the seat. Riley, a Democrat, says he’s running to protect social security, a woman’s right to choose, and to strengthen the middle class.

Riley has already been endorsed by leaders of Democratic committees in Tompkins, Cortland, and Tioga counties.
