Minimal damage, no injuries in Lansing fire

LANSING, N.Y. (WHCU) – No injuries and minimal damage after a structure fire in Lansing.

The Lansing Fire Department was called to a house in North Lansing just before noon on Tuesday for a report of smoke coming from the wall. Firefighters located a chimney fire that had only slightly expanded into the two-story home. Responding units were on-scene for a couple of hours.

Lansing was assisted by departments from Locke, Genoa, and King Ferry. Bangs Ambulance was also on standby.
