Nine arrested in Schuyler County meth bust

TOWN OF DIX — State Police report they broke up a large meth manufacturing operation in Schuyler County this week.

Police say they got a search warrant for a home on Lawrence Johnson Road in the Town of Dix Wednesday evening and raided it because they suspected a meth lab was inside. They ended up finding four one pot meth labs, along with various chemicals and tools used for making meth.

Nine people between the ages of 22 and 53 were arrested in connection with the bust and were taken to the Schuyler County Jail. They are:

  • Belinda M. Webster, age 43 of 123 N. Catherine St., Montour Falls, NY
  • Stephanie N. Short, age 28 of 7622 CR 20, Bradford, NY
  • Annette C. Romance, age 47 of 7654 Whitehead Hill Rd, NY
  • Carrie L. Southard, age 37 of 325 Rock Cabin Rd, Lot#12, Montour Falls, NY
  • Gabriel J. Wilkins, age 38 of 802 Wells Ave., Athens, PA
  • Heather J. Stehm, age 25 of 531 West Water St., Elmira, NY
  • Earl G. MacDougall, age 22 of 4545 SR 224, Montour Falls, NY
  • Tammy L. Snell, age 39 of 325 Rock Cabin Rd, Lot#12, Montour Falls, NY

Police say they also had to call in a hazmat team to clean out dangerous materials from the home.
