ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — New York’s budget for 2025 includes more school aid.

Governor Kathy Hochul proposed big reductions in the school aid formula in January, but Assemblymember Anna Kelles says there’s no cause for alarm.

Another educational aid in the budget, according to Kelles, is top funding for higher ed.

The state budget was finally approved over the weekend nearly three weeks late.
