OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — New charges might be filed against a Pennsylvania man accused of settling a barn fire last week at the Tioga Downs Casino.

Tioga County DA Kirk Martin says he’s exploring a charge of animal cruelty against 32-year-old Boyd Fenton. Authorities say Fenton entered the horse barn last Thursday and set the fire that killed 30 horses.

He’s already been charged with arson and three other felonies.
