OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — A Pennsylvania man who burned down a horse barn at Tioga Downs Casino is prison bound.

Reports say Boyd Fenton was sentenced Friday to five to 15 years on an arson charge and three years for assault. Fenton was also sentenced to one and a third to four years on each charge of animal cruelty. In November, prosecutors say Fenton set fire to the barn and killed 40 horses.

The replacement barn is almost finished.
