Plans advance to add crime analyst at IPD

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca Police Department is one step closer to adding a crime analyst.

The position would share data with public and gather information for investigations. It would be a full-time job.

Ithaca’s City Administration Committee voted in favor of the proposal on Wednesday. It now heads to Common Council.
