‘Possibly rabid’ fox captured on Ithaca’s Fall Creek

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A possibly rabid fox was briefly on the loose in the Fall Creek area on Sunday but was located. 

Tompkins County Whole Health asks if anyone bitten by the fox or thinks their pet may have encountered it should contact the county’s Environmental Health Division at 607-274-6688.

Health officials also remind residents that a free rabies clinic is scheduled for Wednesday evening at the Tompkins County SPCA.
