CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — A new sandwich shop in Cortland is off to a hot start.

Queen Subs recently opened on Port Watson Street. Owner Toni Ruggeri says turkey is a big seller so far, and other options are on the way.

“We’re going to have Ruebens, Phillies, hot ham and cheese, chicken parms, spiedies, you name it,” she says. “There’s going to be a very large variety.”

The shop recently introduced seafood salad.
