Search ends for Owego bridge jumper

OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — Authorities in Owego are investigating a death.

Police say a man jumped off the Court Street bridge on Monday evening. The water was reportedly fast-flowing and full of debris.

Authorities searched for the man until Thursday, when his body was found about eight miles from the bridge in Nichols. His identity has not yet been released.
