Several Tioga County businesses penalized for water violations

OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — Health officials in Tioga County are cracking down on water infractions.

The county recently fined six businesses. They include two mobile home parks and an ice cream shop. The steepest penalty was more than $2,000.

In other Tioga County news, an influx of asylum seekers could be coming to the area.
