VIRGIL, N.Y. (WHCU) – You can hit the slopes in Cortland County.

Greek Peak’s 65th ski season is set to open this weekend. The Visions Quad will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Resort officials say cold weather and hard work from the snowmaking team helped to make the early opening a reality.

Greek Peak Mountain Resort is the first ski resort to open this year in Central New York.
