Spencer crash kills one, investigation continues

SPENCER, N.Y. (WHCU) – An investigation continues in a Tioga County car crash that authorities now reveal, claimed a life.

County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a head-on crash on Route 96 on the afternoon of February 13th in the Town of Spencer. Both drivers, a 32 and 43-year-old male, were taken to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. 43-year-old Daniel Kaczynski, of Endicott, passed away on February 18th from his injuries. The other driver is in stable condition. Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (607)-687-1010.
