Structure catches fire behind Lowes Sunday morning

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca Police and Fire Departments responded to a fire behind Lowes Saturday Morning. 

Responders located a large encampment fire at around 1AM behind the store. Officers say numerous small explosions and chemical smells were coming from the fire. Fire fighters extinguished the flames and say no one was injured. Police are labeling the fire as accidental.
