CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — A local lacrosse coach is celebrating a major milestone.

Steve Beville heads the SUNY Cortland men’s team. He recently got his 400th career win. Beville tells WHCU there’s one victory that stands out.

“The national championship win in 2009 has got to be at the very top,” he says.

Cortland is seeking another deep playoff run this season.
