Tobacco company to pay Ithaca City School District in settlement

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca City School District will reportedly receive money as part of an e-cigarettes lawsuit.

The Ithaca Voice reports the district will get over $8,000. The payout is part of a lawsuit against tobacco company Altria. The company is accused of marketing vape products to teens.

In other Ithaca news, authorities are investigating a stabbing on South Fulton Street.
