Tractor trailer catches fire in Nichols

NICHOLS, N.Y. (WHCU) — There are no reports of injuries after a fire in Nichols.

Authorities say a tractor trailer caught fire Wednesday night at Lounsberry Truck Stop. Crews from Tioga helped extinguish the flames. The cause is unknown, WHCU has contacted the Nichols Volunteer Fire Department for more information.

Elsewhere in the area, crews put out a house fire in Cortlandville.
