ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Two people are charged in Ithaca in a cocaine case.

State Police says the Ithaca Police Department told troopers and Tompkins County Sheriff’s deputies working a Gun Involved Violence Elimination (G.I.V.E.) details around 10:30 Tuesday night about a black Dodge Durango parked in a lot on W. Green St. and S. Geneva St. that they believed was involved in the sale of drugs. A K9 discovered over 10 ounces of cocaine in the car.

29-year-old Khalid Husband of Brooklyn and 29-year-old Mark Waters of Elmira were arrested on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first and third degree, both of which are felonies.
