Addison bank robber pleads guilty

BATH, NY (607NewsNow) – A Corning man is accepting a plea deal for his role in an August 2025 bank robbery.

On June 26, Dominick Bova pled guilty in Steuben County Court to first-degree robbery and misdemeanor contempt.

Originally facing more than a dozen charges, the 31-year-old admitted to robbing a bank in the Town of Addison last year. According to the Corning Leader, Bova will spend 9 years in state prison and pay restitution under the terms of the agreement.

His sentencing is scheduled for August 12.

Earlier this year, Bova was charged with felony assault for allegedly injuring an inmate in Steuben County Jail, where he’s been since his initial arrest in September 2025.
